One backdrop for every image
Leave every cutout transparent, switch to clean white, or apply the same color or uploaded image to the selection.

Consistent sizes and positioning
Pick one canvas size, center the subjects, and set padding for listings, avatars, or social posts.

Edits you can apply together
Add a template or a soft shadow, or adjust brightness and contrast across the selection. Open a single image whenever it needs extra care.

One ZIP, ready to use
Grab every finished image or only the ones you select. PNG and WebP keep the cutout transparent; JPEG works for filled backgrounds.
How to remove backgrounds in bulk
Turn a folder of mixed photos into a finished, matching set in three steps. The bulk background remover uses the same process as the single-image uploader, with shared edits to give the set a consistent look.
- 01
Add your images
Sign in and choose your images. BackgroundRemove runs the background remover on every photo.
- 02
Give them a matching look
Choose the whole batch or a smaller group. Apply a backdrop, canvas size, or template in one step, then fine-tune single images.
- 03
Review and download
Review every cutout and download the finished set as a single ZIP in PNG, WebP, or JPEG. Retry any single image without redoing the batch.
Bulk background removal FAQ
How do I remove backgrounds from multiple images?
Sign in to BackgroundRemove, add your images to the batch editor, and wait for their backgrounds to be removed. Select the images you want to edit together, apply your settings, and download the results as a ZIP.
How many images fit in one batch?
There is no fixed image-count limit for a batch. Each image must be 19.0 MB or smaller, and processing uses image credits.
Which image formats are supported?
Upload PNG, JPG, JPEG, WEBP, or AVIF images and download PNG, WebP, or JPEG. Choose PNG or WebP to keep a transparent background, since JPEG cannot store transparency.
Is an account or a paid plan needed?
Yes. Bulk background removal needs a signed-in account and image credits, and your balance is checked before processing begins. The pricing page lists current credit packs and plans.
Can one edit apply to all images?
Yes. Backdrops, templates, canvas sizes, placement, and adjustments can go on every image or on a chosen group, and you can still edit one image without changing the rest.
Can I try the background remover on one image before I start a batch?
Yes. Try 1 image free as a guest to check the cutout quality. Your first sign-in adds a one-time bonus of 1 credit. Once those are used, buy credits or subscribe to process more images. Bulk Editing requires sign-in and image credits.
